January LD Players of the Month

Congratulations to this month's players, voted upon by their coaches for their effort, attitude, and sportsmanship!

She has really upped her game and has been volunteering to play goalie. Definitely a joy to have on the ice!

She is making strides at not panicking with the puck and working on not falling as much!

Daisy has definitely stepped up her game both defensively and offensively, probably one of the best teammates as well!

Her skating has improved so much since the beginning of the season, she is always working hard and never giving up on the puck. Mila is at every practice working hard and having fun!

Most improved player in her first season playing club hockey!

Natalie's skating has improved tremendously throughout the season, and she is constantly working hard and working hard to move her feet!

Teagan shows up to practice ready to learn and get better. She always has a smile on her face and supports her teammates.

Maggie’s tenacity on the ice is unmatched. She never gives up when battling for pucks and is always looking to make passes to her teammates. Her great attitude always brings a fun presence to the locker room!

Sarah is always smiling, stays positive on the bench and ready to go at all times. She wants to learn, and her hard work was rewarded with some goals this past month!

Emma is a dedicated leader and always put team first!

Cadence uses her speed in games to her advantage and is finding her knack to score goals. She is always fun to be around and keeps everyone smiling around her!

Ryleigh continues to be a leader on the team and her hard work paid off with her first goal of the season!

Mia has taken her game to another level the second half of the season, she is playing with more confidence and has taken steps to be an offensive defensemen!

Ruth always has a great attitude and is willing to try new things at practice to improve her overall game. She is a great teammate and is always positive with her teammates!

Caitlin is positive on the bench, supports her teammates, works hard during practice, and has been a shutdown defensive player in our zone. She makes great reads on breakouts and is doing a good job of getting shots on net from the point in the offensive zone.

Kiera really stepped up being the only goalie for a bit and has shown she’s a competitor who can play to her strengths. She always has a great attitude and a smile on her face, just overall is always excited to be at the rink with her teammates!
