Lady Ducks teams Dominate at Thanksgiving CAHA Girls Weekend

As the Nationally #10 19AAA team returned from another strong performance at the 2-Nations Prep showcase series event, all of our younger teams had a powerful weekend as we hosted the Girls' Southern California Fall Classic at Lakewood ICE over Thanksgiving weekend.

After 3 days and dozens of games LD teams had amazing results:

8u-1: Champions

8u-2: Won and tied their first games!

10B: 2-2 in first full-ice event

10A: Finalist 10A division

12AA: Champions 12AA

12AAA: Champions 12AAA (allowed only 10 shots and outscoring opponents 46-0)

14AA: Champions 14AA-HS division (Outscoring opponents 54-2!)

14AAA: Champions 16u division

16AA: Finalist 16u division

16AAA: Finalist 19AA-16AAA division

19AA: Semi-finalist 14aa-HS division

Lady Ducks teams were overwhelming in most divisions as the 8u-1 team powered through most opponents before winning a close final game, to take home the banner! The LD 8u program is the only girls program to field 2 8u teams in the state. The 8u-2 team pulled in a win and a tie as well showing that the development for the youngsters is coming along strong!

11 teams played with LD taking 5 Championships and 3 runner-up positions. Fantastic!
