16AA Hits the Nation's Capital!
The team spent the Columbus Day weekend in Washington, DC enjoying some sightseeing, a Washington Capitals pre-season game and a few games of their own at the Capital Cup Girls Fest.
Unfortunately, despite having 28 goals for and only 8 goals against and 2 shutouts in 4 games, the team fell short of making into the semi-finals and finished the tournament in 3rd place.
Top scorers of the weekend were Christy Chan with 8 points, Katie Zeschuk with 7 points and Ashley Paterson with 6 points.
